The 5th edition of the highly appreciated Advanced Hip Resurfacing Course will take place again in Ghent (Belgium), from 13 till 16 June 2012, and is entitled “Is there still a place for hip resurfacing anno 2012? – International Consensus Meeting”.
By bringing together orthopaedic surgeons from all over the world to discuss up-to-date information about hip resurfacing arthroplasty, the meeting aims at reaching a consensus on the future of hip resurfacing. After all, we all want to keep “the best and proven” hip joint replacement for the young active people.
The meeting format will be very interactive, with an active contribution
from everybody:
- a prestigious faculty with a combined experience of over 50,000 metal-on-metal hip resurfacing procedures will discuss the latest techniques and updates on theory and practice regarding hip resurfacing arthroplasty
- during the many discussions and Q&A sessions with interactive voting, the input of the delegates will be crucial in reaching a consensus on the future of hip resurfacing
- cadaver & other workshops will give more insight in different techniques
We hope to welcome you (again) in the beautiful city of Ghent for the 5th Advanced Hip Resurfacing Course to create an outstanding meeting together, both scientifically and socially.
